Custom Dental Crowns
Severely decayed or broken teeth require more reinforcement than what a standard At Cartwright Dental of Lebanon, we offer custom dental crowns made from durable, high-quality materials for maximum protection. Each dental crown reinforces your tooth for normal function and diet so that you can bite or chew on it normally without worrying about the weak tooth underneath.
What are Dental Crowns?
Crowns—or “caps” as some people call them—are full-coverage restorations that add reinforcement and protection for severely worn, decayed, or fractured teeth. Our Lebanon dentist recommends crowns when teeth are too compromised to support a smaller filling, after root canal therapy, or to finish out single-tooth dental implant placement.
Getting a dental crown usually requires two separate appointments about two weeks apart.
Lebanon Dental Implants
Dental implants are the only permanent tooth replacement that’s modeled after natural tooth anatomy. Once installed, they fuse with the surrounding bone tissue and provide the same biting and chewing abilities as your other teeth. In fact, their superb strength allows them to work together for full-arch restoration using as few as four implants.
Cartwright Dental is able to provide successful, start-to-finish implant treatment in one location. There’s no need to arrange separate visits with offsite specialists, as everything is completed here in our office.
Advantages of Dental Implants
Dental implants act and look like anatomical teeth. Best of all, they’re non-invasive to your adjacent teeth and help promote healthy, dense bone support. When you care for them properly you can expect your dental implants to last for the rest of your life.
Our Lebanon dental implants can be used for replacing single, multiple, or all of your teeth at one time. Implants can support individual crowns, bridges, and hybrid appliances for complete mouth reconstruction.
Composite Dental Fillings
White dental fillings (composite restorations) are minimally invasive to your tooth structure and blend in with your surrounding smile. We recommend composite fillings instead of traditional amalgam/silver restorations, as they are more conservative and lifelike.
Since tooth decay isn’t always obvious, we routinely examine cavity-prone areas during each dental exam. Digital X-rays also allow us to screen for decay between teeth or underneath the chewing surfaces. Ideally, it’s best to treat cavities while they’re smaller before the decay spreads into adjacent structures or requires a crown.
Complete Family Dentistry Under One Roof
At Cartwright Dental we provide restorative treatments for all ages, from children to retirees. Here you’ll find a safe and comfortable space for your entire family to receive quality care under one roof.
Sedation Dentistry Available
If you feel a little anxious about your upcoming restorative procedure, require complex treatment, or prefer to tune everything out, be sure to ask about our in-office sedation options. With oral sedation, you can arrange to complete multiple procedures in fewer appointments and likely won’t remember much (or anything) about the visit.
